Devil Burglar

East Hampton Town now has on its "Most Wanted" list a man who has been accused of conducting a residential burglary in town. He wasn't on this list before, because until now they never had a good look at him. Now they do. So there he is.

The man who was involved in this burglary was seen wearing a rubber devil mask over his head. The witness said it was a red and black devil's mask with a white beard, white horns and a sort of evil grimace smile revealing white fangs.

That was not enough of an identification.

Now, however, there is a photograph taken by a security camera of a black man about 5' 10", in his mid-twenties, robbing a bank in Central Islip also wearing a mask with exactly that description. However, in this case, the man, unable from inside the mask to make it clear to the teller that he wanted the money in the sack, pulled it up to the top of his head so he could be heard when he spoke.

The picture, therefore, shows a fairly pleasant looking black man in his twenties in a dark pullover sweatshirt wearing, on top of his head, a red and black devil's mask with a white beard, white horns and a sort of evil grimace smile revealing white fangs.
